Tracer

Tracer follows a group of parkourists shadowing the course of the Great North Run across the seasons. In long, panning shots the camera observes land- and cityscapes, drawn by the freerunners’ uninterrupted line across a given environment. The installation at BALTIC 39 will consist of three projections, creating an immersive environment that takes the viewer on a journey where familiar landmarks and obscure corners are re-imagined through a language of gestures and movements.
