Laing Art Gallery

Claire Morgan’s revisiting of ‘Gone with the Wind’ has been a hugely popular installation exhibited at the Laing Art Gallery as a celebration of the 10th anniversary of Great North Run Culture.

As the exhibition reaches it’s half-way point, we are very pleased to invite you to a presentation and talk with Claire Morgan herself, as she explains the concept behind ‘Gone with the Wind’; a dense mass of thousands of seeds and a lone Kittiwake Gull (all native to the route of the world’s largest half-marathon) suspended, mid-air in a dramatic geometric form.

Claire Morgan will give audiences an insight into her practices and methods as a sculptural installation artist with the opportunity to ask questions.
