Thanks to support from the Heritage Lottery Fund, we’re looking for a Programme Manager and a Project Officer to join our team.

The two new posts will develop and deliver our yearlong programme of exhibitions and events to celebrate the millionth finish of the Great North Run, in partnership with Tyne & Wear Archives & Museums.

Over the summer, Newcastle-based artist Sebastian Trend has been working with a group of young people on an exciting new art project at the Customs House in South Shields.

The End of Civilisation, a new film by Turner Prize winning artist Douglas Gordon, co- commissioned by Great North Run Culture and Locus+, was the starting point for an education project which culminates in the exhibition Black or white, mainly grey.
