2008's Bupa Great North Run Cultural Programme was our most ambitious to date, featuring new writing by Bill Bryson and David Almond, photography by Beat Streuli, film by Iain Forsyth and Jane Pollard, dance by Neville Campbell and a stunning sculptural installation by Claire Morgan, as well as schools workshops and our first family event. We were delighted to be working with some of the leading arts organisations in the North East, all testament to the fantastic cultural life of our region.
