By James Edwards

James Edwards was approached by Brendan Foster to create a new painting to celebrate the silver anniversary of the BUPA Great North Run.

Based in Newcastle, Edwards soon realised that not one but three paintings would do justice to an event of this scale. James’ bold, colourful triptych shows the start, Tyne Bridge and the end of run featuring hundreds of people making their way along the iconic route from Newcastle, through Gateshead, out to the coast at South Shields

James’ paintings are available from The Biscuit Factory
