Claire
Morgan’s spectacular sculptural installation traced the journey of the
individual through the crowd, as in the Bupa Great North Run.
A
dense mass of thousands of seeds and a lone Kittiwake Gull, all native
to the route of the world’s largest half-marathon, are suspended in the
air in a dramatic geometric form. Falling and swooping, the bird makes
its way through the enormous throng.
We would like to thank the National Trust for their help with this work.
