Our
2011 programme is here, with a series of projects, events and
commissions that explore sport and art, all set against the backdrop of
the world's largest half-marathon.
This year you can see Run A Mile In My Shoes a new film by David Blandy, read and tweet Kate Fox, our first poet in residence, discover Cerith Wyn Evans' Permit Yourself... and take another opportunity to visit the return of the hit exhibition In The Long Run: 30 Years of the Great North Run.
We'll be announcing more news about talks and events over the next
few weeks, as well as details of our schools and young people's
workshops, so watch this space. And don't forget you can follow us on
Twitter@GNRCulture and join our Facebook group for up to the minute news and updates.
We look forward to seeing you this Autumn.
