News Arts Council England National Portfolio Funding

Great North Run Culture was established in 2005 as an annual series of new commissions celebrating sport and art, set against the backdrop of the world’s largest half-marathon. We are delighted to have been awarded NPO status by Arts Council England. Great North Run Culture is committed to excellence, accessibility, participation and innovation, reaching audiences in the North East and across the UK. We are proud to collaborate with a wide range of organisations, venues and partners, and look forward to working with Arts Council England in the coming years to deliver our programme of commissions, events and projects.
