For 2013 we’ve commissioned three exciting artists to create new work inspired by the Bupa Great North Run – Melanie Manchot, Paul Smith and Daisy de Villeneuve.

In other news, we’ve been working with the good folks at Supanaught and SiS to make some improvements to our website based on what you told us you'd like to see. We’ve added an at-a-glance calendar, made it easier to search not just our current projects but also our archive of commissions, and we’ve made the whole site more focused on artists and their work – after all, that’s what we’re all about. We also know more and more of you are visiting our website from your smartphone or tablet while you're on the move, so it’s cleverly designed to adapt to any device.

We’re still busy putting the final touches to the new site, and we'll be adding a handy event shortlist tool once we announce our 2013 programme, so if you spot anything that's not working or just want to tell us what you think please get in touch!
