In a late (but great) addition to our 2013 programme, there will now be a live performance of Adam Chodzko’s incredible new audio work Rising: The Future of the Race at Tyneside Cinema on Saturday 7 September at 4pm. Tickets are free and can be ordered online here.

Co-commissioned with Invisible Dust as part of this year’s British Science Festival (7-12 September at venues across Newcastle), Rising imagines a dreamlike Great North Run in the distant future where runners have adapted to rising water levels and the Run has become a necessity.
