We're delighted to announce the Northumbria University Commission, which offers £4000 to the University's final year undergraduates and recent graduates to make new work for our 2015 programme.

 

The commission should respond to and capture the spirit of the Bupa Great North Run, one of the world's top sporting events, and will be premiered in September 2015 as part of Great North Run Culture's annual series of events and exhibitions. 

 

This award is open to the following Northumbria University creative arts undergraduates and graduates: final year undergraduates, current postgraduate students and GSN artists, any artist having graduated from a taught programme at Northumbria or GSN within the last two years. Where a recent graduate is awarded the commission, Northumbria University will also offer a studio space at Graduate Studio Northumbria (GSN) for the duration of the production period which includes access to University facilities.
