The Great North Museum is throwing open its doors from 6.30 - 9.00pm the night before the Bupa Great North Run and inviting everyone to visit In The Long Run... 30 Years of the Great North Run. 

Come along to the Great North Museum: Hancock to limber up, have a free health check, enjoy some healthy smoothies and much more in this special one-off event that celebrates the world's most popular half-marathon.

Visit our new exhibition In the Long Run... 30 Years of the Great North Run which features interactive exhibits, films, paintings and celebrity memorabilia, from Brendan Foster’s medals to Dame Tanni Grey-Thompson’s racing wheelchair.
