There’s another chance to see Melanie Manchot’s beautiful moving image work, Tracer in London this month.
Tracer will be screened at MOT International as part of When the Grid Goes Soft – Canadian artists Nathan Bomford and Cedric Bomford will construct an installation that will function as a sculptural form, as well as a framing device for the work of Melanie Manchot and Jakob Kolding.

We asked artist Paul Merrick, filmmaker Hal Branson and Apeuro Parkour & Freerunning to work with pupils from Hotspur Primary School to make a film inspired by Melanie Manchot's 'Tracer'. Here's the result (spoiler: it's absolutely brilliant and we couldn't be prouder).

Working with filmmaker Hal Branson, artist Paul Merrick and parkourist Craig Cheel, ten Year 5 Students from Hotspur School in Heaton, Newcastle embarked on an ambitious project to create a short film inspired by Melanie Manchot's 'Tracer' in three days.
