Students from Northumbria University spent time behind the scenes on Melanie Manchot's Tracer to produce this short film:

We also asked artist Paul Merrick, filmmaker Hal Branson and Craig Cheel from Apeuro Parkour & Freerunning to work with pupils from Hotspur Primary School to make a short film inspired by Tracer. The result was All You Need is Glove (below). Great North Run Director Beth Bate says,"We're absolutely delighted that Melanie's project has inspired these young people to make their own film. All You Need is Glove is a really lovely piece of work. I know Paul, Craig and Hal were impressed by how quickly the group learned skills such as parkour, filmmaking and storyboarding and how well they worked together as a team to produce the film in just three days. Well done to everyone involved, what a great way to round off #GNRC13!" Read Paul Merrick's project blog here.
