Join us for a family fun day to celebrate the opening of the Great North Greats exhibition from10am - 2pm on 27 October , with events and activities to celebrate the one millionth finish of the Bupa Great North Run.
Local Award winning children’s writer Simon Bartram, author of ‘Bob, the man on the moon’ will be making a guest appearance delivering a story time and illustration workshop during this free drop in session.
South Shields Museum & Art Gallery will also be offering a unique opportunity to handle sporting objects and artefacts from their collection.
