Julian Germain

Julian Germain is a photographer who studied at Trent Polytechnic in Nottingham and the Royal College of Art in London. He has published several books and worked on international projects, particularly in Brazil, collaborating with international artists.

He has exhibited his work internationally, notably at the Photographer's Gallery, London, Parco Gallery, Tokyo, MASP, Sao Paulo, Baltic Centre for Contemporary Art in Gateshead and at Netherlands Fotomuseum, Rotterdam.
 
Julian has recently exhibited and published Classroom Portraits, 2004 - 2012, a global project about education. He is also, as part of the No Olho da Rua collective, planning to publish and exhibit photographs made by Brazilian street children over the last 18 years. He lives and works in Northumberland.
